Thank you Melody

We would like to acknowledge the work of Melody Chen, a talented Architect who gave her time to produce our beautiful felted scarves and hand rolled neck rope for our show.
It made a great impact on the catwalk and was a big hit with the boys that modelled them.
We hope we will continue to collaborate with Melody to produce hand made items for the cloakroom's clients.

Thank you Melody.

Mercedes Fashion Festival

We are very excited to announce that we will be showing a Summer collection at this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival. We will be part of the Menswear parade presented by GQ on Monday Aug 25 at 6.30pm.

The collection will come under our house label, Pistols at Dawn.
We have decided on a range of suits, jackets and pants utilising some great natural fabrics we've sourced. This includes polished cotton from french fabric house Dormeuil, as well as linen, cotton and lightweight wool.
Also it will be the first time we've had shoes to show, which is very exciting as we've colloborated with a local leather maker on a range of sandals, as well as some lace-ups with a shoemaker in Sydney.
Tickets to the show are available through www.qtix.com.au
For more info check out the official site - www.mbff.com.au or drop in and see us at the shop.

We hope to see to you there.

winter racing carnival

The winter carnival is upon us again. And the cloakroom is a proud sponsor of the fashions on the field. Traditionally the ladies category is a hard fought affair with girls spending thousands of dollars and months planning their outfits. We certainly don't condone the same fervor from the guys. If last year's event was any indication, a shiny pair of shoes could see you scoop the pool. We are planning to have a great day and hope to share a table in the marquee with some of you.

There are great prizes on offer including a wardrobe from us, a Longines watch from Hardy Brothers, accommodation for a family of four at Daydream Island and a dinner hosted by the inimitable Mr Alastair McLeod at Brett's Wharf.

These prizes have to be won. I would love to see some well dressed guys at the track to make sure the cloakroom's $4000 wardrobe goes to a good home.
I am looking forward to both days on the 17th and 24th of May. If like me you need something new for the event, you still have time to come in and see us.
